Something about the way he looks in this picture reminds me of his comment about being a very sexy Hobbit. And, on that train of thought, Steve could be the Samwise to Ed's Frodo...which, of course, entails constant insistance on giving Ed baths and generally being a high-heeled bitch-maid.
